Gideon is seasoned executive with over 18 years of experience in Life Science & technology management. Prior to joining LifeBond, he was the general manager of Lumenis Vision and corporate EVP. Early in his career Gideon co-founded Galil Medical and served as a turnaround manager at the Wertheimer Group. He was also the founder of several medical startups and a venture partner at the Ofer High-Tech Group. Gideon holds a MSc from the Technion, Israel.
Orahn co-founded LifeBond in 2007 and has been leading the company’s development efforts ever since. Previously, he gained expertise in applied biomedical & biomechanical research while a researcher at the IDF Institute for Military Physiology. He holds a M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the Technion in Israel where he studied implantable polymer biomechanics. Orahn also earned a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University, where he was involved in applied biomechanics research at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery for several years.
Gal has extensive experience in all aspects of business operations. Prior to joining LifeBond, Gal worked for over nine years at Lumenis Ltd., a global company traded on Nasdaq with sales of nearly $300 million. At Lumenis he served in various senior managerial positions in finance and operations including corporate treasurer, senior director global strategic supply chain, senior director special projects, and senior director, corporate regional support. In addition, Gal has direct experience in marketing and sales gained while working at ICIC and Modules. He holds a master’s degree in business administration.
Dr. Sachi Norman heads the medical affairs department at LifeBond, where he leads the company’s clinical strategy for LifeSeal™ and LifeMesh™. Prior to LifeBond, he served as the healthcare division manager at Dsit, where he led the development of advanced software solutions for chemotherapy administration. Sachi is also the former CEO and medical director of CoreDynamics, where he headed the clinical development of an orthopedic implant for cartilage repair. He earned an MD from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an MBA from the Arison School of Business in Herzliyah, Israel.
Christian is LifeBond’s VP of Marketing Europe and is based in Germany. He has a vast experience with successfully developing and leading international brand strategies and product launches for a variety of companies in more than 14 markets. Christian is the former director, global brand & marketing strategy at Leica Microsystems. Prior to that he served as the director V.A.C. marketing EMEA at KCI Europe and as marketing manager at ETHICON Wound Management, a Johnson & Johnson company. Christian holds a Master degree in Law and Economics and an MBA from University of Lüneburg.
Amir joined LifeBond in 2011 and has led the company’s R&D department since 2014. Prior to joining LifeBond, he served as a project manager and a researcher at the IDF Institute of Military Physiology and Heller Institute of Medical Research. His specialties included: applied research and development in the fields of exercise physiology, biomechanics and thermoregulation. Amir holds a BSc in biomedical engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology of Israel where he was involved in biodegradable bone glue research. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Tel Aviv University in the biomedical engineering department. His current research focusses on the mechanophysiology of overuse injuries in athletes and soldiers.
Orit has 20 years of experience in regulatory strategy and management of medical device regulatory processes including market introduction of products which are based on bio-materials. Prior to joining LifeBond, Orit served as VP of regulatory affairs at ColBar Life Science (acquired by Johnson and Johnson) and at Regentis Biomaterials. Orit holds an MSc in Microbiology from the Faculty of Agriculture at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
